Audiovisual system design
A good AV installation starts on paper. We design complete audiovisual systems — from the concept, through equipment selection and technical documentation, to deployment supervision. The design we deliver can be used by your contractor, the general contractor of the building, or by us during implementation.
What the design includes
- a functional concept of the room or space — what the system should do and how the user will operate it,
- equipment selection: projection (including spherical and mapping), displays, audio, video conferencing, control,
- AV network design — Dante, NDI, HDBaseT, network infrastructure for audio-video transmission,
- technical documentation: wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, installation and electrical guidelines,
- a cost estimate and specification for an RFQ or tender,
- optionally: design supervision during implementation, system commissioning and tuning.
Who it's for
We work with private and public investors, architects and design offices (AV design as a discipline within a larger project), general contractors, and integrators who need design support on larger projects — conference rooms, auditoriums, museums, planetariums and dome cinemas.
Certified expertise
We design based on manufacturer certifications: Dante Level 3 (Audinate), Q-SYS (QSC), NDI Professional, HDBaseT Master and NETGEAR Certified AV Professional. Thanks to Q-SYS certification we have access to the full QSC portfolio — unavailable to suppliers who have not completed the manufacturer's training program.
How we charge
Design is a paid service — priced individually depending on the scale of the facility. When NextAV delivers the installation, the design cost is deducted from the value of the deployment. The initial consultation and needs discussion is always free.
